Not a fool
"Come on Mr Psychiatrist, you know very well that psychoactive drugs are useless, it never solves any problems, it's like putting deodorant on a bad smell, it doesn't heal nobody to the core, if you prescribe it, it's only because it's part of the system, it makes the big machine society works, it brings money to the already rich leaders, and it justifies those who take it to the eyes of the authorities that they are troublesome people that need to be watched over, maybe have some privileges, like taking a day out from work all suddenly, they are fragile and unreliable, so to make the best of that probable loss of money, society sells them tons of mind-numbing pills, and everyone should be happy, this is just a big corporate scam, Mr Psychiatrist."

I disagree to some extent - anti-depressants to raise serotonin levels and improve depressive symptoms.
RépondreSupprimerI'm aware of the actual effect of some products on the metabolism, but i think it doesn't permanently improve the psyche of a person, it's acting on the form instead of the core of the problem, then someone taking pills for too long get accustomed to it, plus it's expensive, and there's often side effects, personally i believe in working psychological problems out through reflections and understanding of what's going on in ourselves and outside, because simply we have that power to change to functioning of the chemicals in our body thanks to that different thinking and comprehension, to me being fine, being happy, being confident is a choice we can take when we know (it's more like feeling it deeply) the truth of this world, and our truth.
RépondreSupprimerI do agree with the need for more working it out through reflections (cognitive behavioral therapy as well) in conjunction with temporary medication to raise serotonin levels. Just my opinion. Great post!!
